Thank you for shopping with Practical Survival Gear. We stand behind every product we sell. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.
Returns
We accept returns within 30 days of the original delivery date. To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:
- The item must be in its original, unused condition
- The item must be in the original packaging
- You must have the receipt or proof of purchase
Items that show signs of use, damage caused by the customer, or missing original packaging may not be eligible for a full refund and may be subject to a restocking fee.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Perishable goods (food, survival rations, etc.)
- Downloadable or digital products
- Gift cards
- Items marked as Final Sale or Non-Returnable on the product page
- Items that have been opened and used for hygiene or safety reasons (e.g., first aid kits, water purification tablets)
How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please contact our team at:

Please include the following in your message:
- Your full name
- Order number
- Item(s) you wish to return
- Reason for return
Our support team will respond within 2 business days with return instructions and, if applicable, a prepaid return shipping label.
Do not send items back without first receiving a Return Authorization (RA) number from our team. Returns without an RA number may not be processed.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email of the status of your refund.

Approved refunds will be processed to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days
- If you paid via credit card, please allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to post the credit
- Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item shipped, defective product)
Exchanges
If you received a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, we will gladly exchange it at no cost to you. Please contact us at support@practicalsurvivalgear.com within 7 days of delivery to arrange an exchange.
For size or preference exchanges on eligible items, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Once we receive the returned item, we will ship the replacement at no additional charge.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective:
- Take clear photos of the item and the packaging
- Email us at support@practicalsurvivalgear.com within 7 days of delivery
- Include your order number and photos
We will resolve the issue promptly — either by sending a replacement or issuing a full refund, at our discretion.
Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items over $50
- We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit during the return
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund after 10 business days:
- Check your bank account again
- Contact your credit card company — it may take additional processing time
- Contact your bank
